Shooting
In this section, collaborators discuss the process of shooting including framing shots, arranging lighting, and recording sound. They discuss what they learned through the process of gathering and representing information through interviews, using found footage to convey ideas, and constructing an argument through the shooting process. Additionally, they talk about the spaces in which they filmed, and the materials they engaged with in those spaces in order to produce their shots. Spaces recounted are as far away as India and as local as the quad, and materials engaged run the gamut from the gun to the cardboard robot exoskeleton.
Questions to which collaborators respond in this category include, what were some of the shots you picked, and why? How did you pick which camera angle to shoot from? How did you make your lighting, location, and other editing decisions? Where did you choose to go to capture footage?
