Full Video Projects
While we would like to publish videos from each of our collaborators, we are unable to do that for a number of reasons—personal, professional, and legal (to the extent that some of the videos contain copyright images and/or sound). So in consultation with the group, we are proud to present two finished videos: Valerie Enriquez’ “Colonizer / Colony, or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Stop Fearing White People,” and Alex Parker’s “The Gun.”
Valerie describes her piece as “a textual and metaphoric examination of the troubled history of U. S. / Philippine relations.” Alex describes his as “a narrative about gun control that follows two students in need of money, and the poor decisions that they make.”
